Evidation Health is hiring a Director of Sales and Business Development with experience in healthcare, analytics, and sales. Reporting directly to the company’s VP of Sales and Business Development, the Director will have responsibility for driving revenue generation focused in the pharmaceutical, biotech, and medical device sectors.


  • Grow existing lines of business and develop new lines of business
  • Drive prospects and pursuit of opportunities through contract negotiation to close
  • Manage strategic conversations with the customer, creating novel opportunities and partnerships
  • Develop new market initiatives, assess new markets, and analyze business opportunities
  • Provide guidance and expert advice to technical team from the customer perspective
  • Promote a customer-oriented focus internally and externally


Minimum Qualifications:

  • 5-10 years of sales experience in healthcare, ideally with focus on data and analytics—selling technology to biopharma a huge plus
  • Track record of identifying, negotiating and closing revenue opportunities
  • Deep healthcare knowledge with 5+ years in the sector
  • Execution orientation with evidence of influencing customers, and gaining customer traction
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Attains revenue and growth targets per plan
  • Experienced in developing, evolving, and executing on strategic and tactical account plans based on client portfolio and business need

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Start-up experience
  • Relevant network within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology companies
  • Experience selling analytics into pharma/biotech
  • Experience in healthcare clinical, reimbursement, or market access
