Strategic Account Manager

We are hiring Strategic Account Managers to work alongside our innovative partners, helping to grow our penetration within these accounts. In this role you will be responsible for strengthening and building relationships within our large customers. You will deeply understand our offering and the needs of our customers, ultimately identifying and closing new opportunities. You will be accountable for an account expansion quota and overall account renewals.


  • Build durable, strategic relationships with our customers, increasing our overall penetration
  • Team with sales and client engagement to deliver high overall customer satisfaction
  • Proactively map accounts, create new relationships, and identify expansion opportunities
  • Meet/exceed an account expansion quota
  • Take full ownership of account renewals
  • Present the Evidation offering to new customers within an account and lead from opportunity to close, coordinating with product marketing and sales support as needed
  • Generate new value stories out of customer accounts and establish strong customer references
  • Collaborate with client engagement and ensure projects are being delivered with high quality, advising on any potential issues or concerns from customers
  • Actively solicit and gather feedback from our customers on Evidation’s performance
  • Lead ongoing account strategy, providing inputs into the commercial plan and marshalling the resources necessary to execute


Minimum Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of account management or sales experience with enterprise software or services
  • Experience working with top-25 pharma/biotech companies
  • Strategic account planning and execution skills
  • Ability to foster strong interpersonal relationships
  • High aptitude for learning technology
  • Comfortable experimenting with new concepts and thinking creatively
  • Extremely well organized; able to manage several relationships and opportunities simultaneously
  • Travel availability up to 50%
  • Undergraduate degree
