The Community Operations team at Evidation supports Achievement (, a product that empowers users to control their own health journey, no matter what their goals are or where they start. We provide a single central repository for all health information, including behavioral data synced in real time from wearables and other devices, and a health assessment. Based on this data, we provide individualized offers that are tailored and relevant to user's health goals. To keep users motivated and engaged, we provide rewards when individuals take actions that help them to achieve their goals.

We’re seeking a Community and Social Operations Specialist for the Community Operations Team. We are looking for a motivated candidate to support the Achievement community. You will utilize both vendor customer support software and social media to support and create a positive experience for our users. You are a creative social media leader who will set the strategy for all of our channels, runs community programs and works closely with leads in community and marketing. As a member of the Community Operations team, you will also collaborate with product/engineering teams to ensure the user experience exceeds high quality standards.   

This role is full-time and based in San Mateo, CA.


  • Represent the Achievement brand in a positive manner as the first point of contact for our users
  • Create a positive experience for our users by investigating and resolving inquiries via phone, email and on social media
  • Identify and solve new or non-standard issues that may require resourceful and conceptual thinking when necessary
  • Collect data and insights to identify trends and user insights. Use these insights to make improvements to the user experience
  • Implement organizational systems and create help articles within the vendor customer support software to facilitate internal communication and collaboration on participant support
  • Manage social media accounts (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and more) and implement a social planthat aligns with the Achievement brand and engages our community
  • Identify ways to integrate social media into marketing campaigns (sweepstakes, contests, etc) and use social platforms to foster and build the Achievement community
  • Cultivate relationships with our key community contacts to expand marketing opportunities via social, blog posts, user stories, community programs and more.

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Undergraduate university degree required
  • Customer support experience
  • Experience using FreshDesk is preferred
  • Comfortable using social media sites, blogs, social media tools etc. in a business setting
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Must be self motivated, eager to exceed objectives and organized
  • Startup experience preferred
